I was looking for an ashtray with a lid to minimize cigarette smells. Both the price and design attracted me to this product. Given the relatively reasonable price it is well designed and constructed - it has a contemporary aesthetic, is sturdy and easy to clean. Only one small grumble - the lid tends to open when you are stubbing out a cigarette making it necessary to hold the 'lever' as you do so. That said, I am very happy overall with this product.
