I bought this cart to hold all the poolside audio components. I considered wireless speakers and running speaker wires before I settled on the idea of the cart.

The cart holds a receiver and a 5-disc CD player in the cabinet. I attached a couple of Sony SS-B3000 speakers in the space above the cabinet. Everything is held in place using industrial strength Velcro. The top shelf is empty for now (though would be perfect for a projector for poolside movie watching). The built-in extension allows for the cart to be moved around.

The cart is heavy but rolls smoothly. It has couple of openings in the cabinet for running wires into the cabinet which come in very handy.

Service and delivery comments:

The cart was delivered on time. It did have a small dent at the bottom (thanks UPS), which is merely cosmetic and does not affect the cart's overall functionality in any way.

The cart is great for laptops, projectors, TVs, boxes, drinks, etc. My complaint would be that it requires tools to adjust the height, and is a bit time consuming as the adjustable portion is screwed in with 8 sets of nuts and bolts (two for each leg). The wheels glide nicely. The cabinet door lock is not fancy, but it will probably never be used anyway. The mounted surge protector is a great feature.

Once assembled (Hard for one person to get all the listle screws in right had to get help) the unit is great, rolls well, sturdy, decent steel thickness, and has a great rubber mat on top.

I was looking for something we could lock our components in and use for our projector when we held classes in our office, and found this piece of equipment. Of course, you never know what you're buying online, so I winced a bit when I purchased it because I wasn't familiar with the company, nor was I able to actually touch the stand and see it up close. I am not kidding you when I say, this product is excellent. I couldn't believe how solid it is - steel, not some cheap, corny plastic junk. Totally the "stand the test of time" type product. I highly recommend this product to anyone, whether it's for business or personal usage. I am extremely difficult to please, and for me to go out of my way and type up such a lengthy review says something.

I have a backyard theater at my house. I purchased the AV cart to hold all my components (DVD Player, Receiver, Speakers, and LCD Digitial Projector). I used to have to drag each of these items out one by one when setting up and it was very inconvenient. I also have a 9' x 12' blowup movie screen I use which also requires setting up. The AV Cart I purchased means I now have that many fewer things I need to deal with making setup a snap. The cart is well designed, sturdy, and rolls nicely.
