These chairs are like the ones at my son's daycare, which are perfect for tiny tots who are still too small to use most of the child-sized furniture sold in stores. Most child-sized chairs have seat heights between 10-14 inches. These chair heights start at 6 inches. I don't know what the difference is between these, which sell for $60+/pair, and the ones that sell for $50+/each, but these chairs are SOLID, well constructed, and will last a long time. I got the 8-inch size, and our 4-year-old neice sat in one just fine. No adult could sit in one, though, and that's been an occasional draw-back when my son wants me to sit next to him in the other chair. Also, the 8-inch is still a bit high for my one-year-old to sit in, and I wish I had gotten the 6-inch, but he'll probably grow into these in no time, and use them for years. I wish they came in other finishes.

My daughter loves these chairs. They are a nice hardwood and will last forever. CSN's price was the best I found. They are really sturdy and the arms provide a little more stability for a toddler.

All of the kids' chairs in stores are too high for my 15-month-old son. These chairs come in varying heights and won't tip over. It's great that my son can sit down at a little table and have a snack, do a puzzle, or color on his own. PLUS: the chairs come already assembled! How great is that?

Good sturdy chair, great for my kids.\nThis next part is no reflection on the quality of this chair but adults can't sit down on this one to help out with projects because of the side arms. This aspect never crossed my mind. If I were buying again I would choose an armless chair. However, if you are sold on having arms this is a nice one.

these chairs are the perfect size for my daughter. we got them when she was 15 mos. and very interested in sitting. most toddler chair seat heights are too high and therefore dangerous and/or inhibiting. a low seat height gives her a sense of independence and she delights in sitting, standing up, and sitting again. the quality of the chairs are great. very sturdy, well built. and the price is great.
