      For the price, it would be hard to find a better mailbox--it's attractive, sturdy and won't rust. The finish is also tough and the color selection is very good. You can pay this much for a junky sheet steel and plastic mailbox at Lowe's or Home Depot!

      I'd rather it didn't have an opening behind the door handle, as it seems it could allow the mail to get wet under some circumstances, but that hasn't actually happened, so it might not be of any real concern.

      The installation instructions are of little use, but it's pretty easy to figure out.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        The mailbox lives up to billing; the only design change I would like to see would to remove the open slot on door handle. I haven't exprienced any issue with wet mail; but it could be given the right condition. Other than that I would/do recommand the box.

        Service and delivery comments:

        Delivery was prompt and actually arrived ahead of schedule to my delight. The shipment was packed well and CS was on good.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
