Testrite was founded in 1919 by Herman Neuwirth. First located on East 11th Street in New York City, they began as an importer and manufacturer of optical and scientific instruments.
World War II ended their ability to import, and they turned exclusively to manufacturing. In 1955, TestRite moved to it's present 90,000 square foot facility in Newark, New Jersey.
Today, Testrite is a diversified manufacturer visual communication, office, and studio tools, which help their customers enrich their presentations and maximize their productivity. TestRite's goal is to enhance studio and workplace environments.

I used the easels to display 22" x 28" signs for a meeting.Great about the easels: Given the price, the easels met my expectations. Once I purchased the hardware that wasn't included, they performed well for my signs, which each weigh about 1.5 pounds. I like the fact that the easels have a tray into which I can set my signs. Because of the cross-bracing, the easels are quite stable for my use.[...]
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was in a timely manner. However, I ordered 12 of the easels and NONE OF THEM included the bolts required to assemble them. I contacted customer service and they said the bolts would be shipped in time to be received in advance of the meeting for which I had ordered the easels. When the bolds did not arrive, I contacted customer service again and was informed that the bolts were due to arrive about a week and a half later than they first told me, and in the middle of my meeting, which was 360 miles away. I had to go to a hardware store and spend an additional $18 on hardware which should have arrived with the easels. Needless to say, I'm a very unhappy camper with the service I received (didn't receive?).
