Testrite was founded in 1919 by Herman Neuwirth. First located on East 11th Street in New York City, they began as an importer and manufacturer of optical and scientific instruments.
World War II ended their ability to import, and they turned exclusively to manufacturing. In 1955, TestRite moved to it's present 90,000 square foot facility in Newark, New Jersey.
Today, Testrite is a diversified manufacturer visual communication, office, and studio tools, which help their customers enrich their presentations and maximize their productivity. TestRite's goal is to enhance studio and workplace environments.
Testrite also manufactures specialty tubing, stands, and devices offering unique solutions for many commercial applications. More on Testrite...

Comments about Testrite Art Tree:
Great concept but very badly constructed. First the poles are constructed of a flimsy metal that literally bent under the weight of the artwork. Some of the screws used to attach the poles together were off center. To attach the artwork holders to the poles you use screws. But the metal is so thin that you literally have to remove the entire screw in order to place the holder up or down the hole. There is very little thread to hold the screw and the metal is so soft that within a day the threads were gone and the holders were rendered useless. A better quality metal in the poles and the addition of a bolt spot welded to give extra threading on each holder would have been a cheap fix for the manufacturer and made the item more durable. To bad. As a professional artist who attends many art shows I could have recommended this product to many other artists who wanted to use it for display purposes rather than have to invest in a complete and expensive wall panel system just to display a few pieces of artwork.
Service and delivery comments:
Very good delivery though one package was ripped the product was packed well enough that no damage was done.
